Let
the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one
another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual
songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do,
whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians
3:16, 17

Psalm 147:1
Music
must express the emotion of the heart, adoration and worship.
J.S.
Bach: All music should have no other end and aim than the glory of
God and the soul’s refreshment; where this is not remembered there
is no real music but only a devilish hub-bub.
Music
must be worthy of the Lord Jesus.
Sing
to the Lord; bless his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he
saves.
Psalm 96:2
3.
Show your commitment to Jesus.
And
whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of
the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17
Everything
is done in the recognition of the authority of Jesus’ name.
Everything
is done with awareness that we are God’s people.
Listen
to your words and look at your deeds. Are you right with Jesus?
When
you are right with Jesus, gratitude forms your attitude.
Come,
let us sing to the Lord! Let us give a joyous shout to the rock of
our salvation! Let us come before him with thanksgiving. Let us sing
him psalms of praise.
