The KIBC Praise and Worship Ministry is about living out praise, adoration, love, and respect to the one and only God and Savior. Our hearts are to worship God by gathering together in praise, adoration, and confession before Him. We are to listen and respond to His Word, by celebrating and remembering what He has done for us and by going into His world to give witness to Christ’s love through our words and actions. God desires to have a relationship with us and to know us in a personal way. That is why we worship - to know God and to be known by Him. We believe it is important to have a high quality of worship because it is pleasing to God and valuable in ministering to the community. Worship is our primary responsibility before God and it is why we were made.

Areas of Service within the Praise and Worship Ministry

Praise Team:

The praise team is a group of individuals who lead the singing each Sunday during the Praise and Worship Service. They are facilitated by Ken Choi and are always looking for members to help in this ministry.

Praise Band:

The praise band is a group of individuals who play instruments during the Sunday Praise and Worship service. They range from keyboard musicians to percussionists and are facilitated by Ronald Li.

Prayer Ministry:

The prayer ministry is a group of people committed to pray for the needs of the service. They also pray for any specific needs that visitors and members may have on their hearts.

Sound and Technical Ministry:

The sound and technical ministry is responsible for making sure the equipment is ready whenever needed. They are also accountable for operating the equipment during the services.

Media Ministry:

The media ministry is responsible for preparing the service on PowerPoint and making sure that all media equipment is operating efficiently for each service.
